The beginning of our journey.

Do you ever feel like you're just 'faking it till you become it,' despite all your accomplishments? That nagging voice of self-doubt can be exhausting.

The relentless grind in building a successful career in others' eyes can leave you feeling utterly drained, wondering if this 'success' is truly worth the exhaustion.

Are you feeling disconnected from your work, perhaps questioning if this is truly what you're meant to be doing?

You are never alone. Many professionals hit this crossroads in mid-career.

Hi, I'm Corinna Kong, formerly a global manager in big tech and now a leadership well-being coach. I help professional women transform self-doubt and burnout into renewed purpose in mid-career.

My mission is simple: to empower purpose-driven women like you to cultivate a resilient, happier work life that genuinely supports your career aspirations and well-being, helping you achieve success on your own terms without sacrificing your well-being.

As an Asian woman expat who built a career in big tech, I've firsthand experienced the very challenges many professional women face: navigating cultural expectations, confronting biases, breaking through barriers, and redefining traditional notions of success.

That's exhausting, isn't it?

The result, often, is inevitable burnout.

Having personally navigated my own journey from burnout to breakthrough, I deeply understand the unique pressures and aspirations of professional women in today's uncertain, complex, and ever-evolving workplace cultures.

My hope is that by sharing my own stumbles and victories, we can both learn and build an authentic community together.

Here is my story:

I believe in the power of dreams.

What are yours?

I'd love to share one of mine, and I'd be honored if you'd share yours with me.

My childhood dream was to become an author.

In 2018, I published my book, ‘Train for Joy: Break the Five Toxic Beliefs That Hold You Back from Success,’ which ranked #1 in Business Coaching & Mentoring, Self-Help, and #2 in Business Management on Amazon.

That all started with a dream that I didn't believe in. My family in Hong Kong called me Yi, meaning 'joy and harmony.' Ironically, my childhood was anything but. To escape the chaos at home, I found refuge in writing and daydreaming, holding onto a secret dream of becoming an author, though I never truly believed it was possible.

I simply didn't believe in myself. Overcoming self-doubt and the fear of sharing my true voice were major obstacles in my journey to becoming an author.

When I finally published my book, the feeling was incredible—a validation that showed me vulnerability could be a powerful strength.

From burnout to breakthrough.

A deep desire to serve others has always been a part of me. I grew up in Hong Kong. From a young age, I felt a strong pull to help those around me. I knew I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. That calling led me dedicate my career to empowering people as a medical social worker in Hong Kong.

Helping over 2,700 people navigate life's challenges was incredibly rewarding. However, my relentless pursuit of perfection eventually took a toll, leading to burnout. After careful thought and a lot of courage, I took a leap of faith and left Hong Kong, embarking on a new chapter in the United States. Relocating to Silicon Valley, California, proved to be a pivotal moment in my life. I launched my new career in tech on leadership development and product education.

My driving force has always been empowering others to thrive, a passion amplified by Silicon Valley's innovative spirit. From leading teams in Big Tech to guiding people development for startups and nonprofits, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals and organizations. Empowering over 20,200 leaders and professionals to achieve their goals has been deeply fulfilling, making this journey of impact and innovation truly rewarding.

Overcoming self-doubt and perfectionism.

My personal and career growth wasn't always straightforward. For years, I grappled with self-doubt. However, I've overcome these challenges by consistently taking deliberate action to cultivate a more positive mindset and refine my thinking strategies.

In my book, ‘Train For Joy: Break the Five Toxic Beliefs That Hold You Back From Success’, I shared my personal journey of overcoming a perfectionist mindset, breaking through limiting beliefs and redefining success on my own terms. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.

Unveiling new paths: Lessons from my career breaks.

My career journey has included three breaks, some planned and others unexpected. These experiences fostered resilience and allowed me to prioritize my well-being while pursuing meaningful goals, such as supporting children in underprivileged communities to achieve educational success. I believe education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty, and I'm passionate about creating a brighter future for these children. It was incredible to watch them learn, grow and flourish.

Taking career breaks can be a valuable part of our career and life journey. They can be our seeds of transformation.

Finding fulfillment in work and cultivating a better well-being.

As the Silicon Valley survivor with a soul, I deeply understand the aspirations and pressures of committed, purpose-driven women like you. I'm dedicated to empowering you through a safe and supportive community focused on connection, personal growth, and fulfillment. I am here to empower you to thrive by blending culture, cultivating authentic confidence, and nurturing career well-being.

Imagine waking up in the morning to a life that resonates with your deepest values and fills you with genuine joy.

It requires determination, thoughtful planning, and consistent action. Yes, it will be challenging, but the fulfillment is undeniable.

Let's collaborate on creating a career well-being journey rooted in your purpose and authentic values, so you can intentionally build that joyful life you have always wanted.

Living fully. Living well.

A professional woman looking stressed
